This spigot serves as a sampling port to pull off samples of your fermentation for tasting or checking gravity. Simply drill a hole in your FastFerment Conical Fermenter (using the included drill bit) and install the spigot.
The Sampling Port is perfect for the 3g fermenter, 7.9G fermenter, and the 14G fermenter.
When drilling, the hole needs to be drilled into the fermenter 3" below the 1 gallon mark.
