This White Labs yeast strain is perfect for creating unique personality and body in your next East Coast, Northeast, or New England-style IPA. Burlington Ale yeast provides more juicy and estery character than tradition American Ale strains resulting in a more complex flavor profile. Because this strain has been known to produce diacetyl, increasing the temperature toward the end of fermentation is recommended to ensure proper flavor.
*NOTE:*During summer months, we include complimentary ice packs will all liquid yeast orders. However, it is difficult to guarantee that the ice packs will stay frozen given transit times and particularly hot temperatures. For this reason, we recommend ordering dry yeast during summer months.
